Really looking for
| A plastic/rubber cover for typical office overhead ceiling vent. |
|
Search Terms tried
| ceiling vent, rubber vent cover, etc. |
|
Comments
| The purpose is to block cold air blowing directly over your desk/cubicle without disrupting the air flow from the rest of the vents in the ceiling. I saw one years ago in an office supply catalog but every catalog I check now does not have them. I don't know what the specific name is for them. Help! I'm freezing and can't turn off the A/C in my office. |

They are called Vent Magnets. Search google for that and you will find a bunch of places that sell them.

home depot and ace hardware stores sell them as vent magnets or vent strips, if u cant find them thats ok just go 2 any hardware store and pick up a strip of hard rubber (the unrolled piping kind should work best), they should be either free or really cheap, size it accordingly, bring it in and duct tape it to the vent. people in your office might think your insane but its worth a try. if all that doesnt work than wear a jacket :)
